William John Balbin

In 2011, John got involved with a non-profit afterschool program by teaching dance at the Boys & Girls Club of Hawai'i as a volunteer, then worked at the Lihue Clubhouse for over 9 years as a Youth Development Specialist/Director. John has taught dance (Hip-Hop & Breakdance) at church youth camps, KUGA dance studio, Aloha Dance Studio, school clubs, CKMS lunch program & outreaches, Kauai Hip Hop programs, and many more (20+ years dancing, 15+ years teaching).

John has always had a heart for missions, where back in May of 2014, John traveled with a small group from Chi Alpha Hawai'i to Mexico and reached out to the local community and orphanages there through volunteer, prayer, evangelism, and sharing the love of Christ through the Gospel. John is very excited to serving his local community in this next season!
