Our Programs

Kupuna Program

Nourish Kaua’i is a non-profit that has provided over 77,000 meals, consisting of prepared hot meals and our own chef-curated Meal Kits, since the inception of our Kupuna program in May 2020. Each week our Kokua Kupuna program provides qualifying seniors locally sourced Meal Kits. We are dedicated to the creation of a more sustainable food economy, a vision we work towards by collaborating with our islands small businesses to source local ingredients, create recipes, then pack, and deliver these Meal Kits to those in need.

Volunteer

Our team receives deliveries from local food producers between 8:00am-10:00am, when volunteers arrive to assist with preparations and packing. The fresh groceries are separated into bags, while the refrigerated items are packed just prior to delivery to ensure safe food handling practices. Approximately 40 volunteers show up weekly to support our Wednesday distribution days. We’d love for you to join us!

Adopt A Kupuna
