KEN RUTZ
Vice Chairperson
Ken Rutz has a lifelong history of serving communities in need. He has worked with troubled children, youth and adults in a variety of settings ranging from youth summer camps and latchkey programs to adult corrections. Ken has served at a faith based transition home for adult offenders through the church he attends for a dozen years. He volunteered in the local gospel mission, serving as a lay Christian Counselor, church board member, and Bible College instructor. Ken worked in a variety of group homes (both secular and faith based) and is currently working in a Juvenile Detention facility with troubled youth. With this background, he is very skilled in conflict resolution. Ken is excited and looking forward to serving the community of Kauai through the Christ honoring ministry of Nourish Kauai.
