KAROLYN FREULER

Karolyn Freuler has organized and prepared thousands of meals for the Kaua’i community. As a successful entrepreneurial caterer and restaurateur, she is using her 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry to expand the reach of healthy food to community members who have had limited access. 

In 2018, she led her community in providing prepared meals as a direct response to severe flooding on the North Shore of Kaua’i. Her experience has allowed her to oversee the administration and strategic plans for Nourish Kauai. Karolyn has been active in volunteer work during her 20 years living on Kaua’i. She has led and participated in many outreach efforts to serve vulnerable populations; such as the houseless, elderly, and disabled.

In 2007, Karolyn won the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” Award from Kauai Women in Business. Her catering company, Kauai Cuisine, was featured multiple times in Pacific

Rim Weddings Magazine. Kauai Pasta, her restaurant, received Best Caterer at Alaska Airlines most years of service. She holds a BA from Pepperdine University and a culinary degree from the California School of Culinary Arts.
